Meet Jammie Smith Taire

Jammie Taire offers over 20 years of experience! In addition to managing SmithTaire Legal, LLC, she serves as a part-time Magistrate Judge in Gwinnett County and also as the Chief Judge for the City of Snellville. She handles estate planning, probate and personal injury matters because it is important to her that people are properly educated and represented. She has seen first-hand what happens when you do not plan for the inevitable. Jammie speaks to various organizations about the importance of estate planning and she also volunteers with the probate clinic offered by Gwinnett Legal Services. She has received numerous accolades for her outstanding legal service including the National Advocates award and AVVO Best. Her firm was voted Best of Gwinnett for Estate Planning for 2019 and 2020.

Attorney Jammie Taire was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She obtained her Juris Doctor Degree from Georgia State University College of Law.  She started her legal career at a large firm in Gwinnett County. She then decided to pursue a solo career. Jammie has a passion for people so she started her practice focusing primarily on family law, estate planning and probate.  

After more than 15 years in practice, she decided to answer to a higher calling and in 2018 was appointed as an Associate Magistrate Judge for Gwinnett County. In 2019, she went on to be appointed the Chief Judge of City of Snellville Municipal Court. Attorney Taire continues to maintain her law practice and her passion for helping people. She has more than 20 years of experience including significant experience in probate, wills, guardianships and general estate planning as well as family law.  

Jammie is a resident of Gwinnett County. She is married and has one child. Jammie is an active member of her church where she serves as a lector and on the linen committee. She enjoys reading, spending time with her family and serving her community.

Passion for Providing Comfort in Times of Need

Jammie is passionate about helping the community. She provides a caring and supportive voice during times of difficulties like the death of a loved one, guardianship over an incapacitated child, or auto accident.

She believes that during these times, individuals need someone who will listen to them and understand that this is a life-changing period. Jammie works closely with her clients and provides personal attention to their every need. Moreover, she works with other professionals to ensure that all of her resources are available and accessible.
